![]() ![]() While many VPNs spend a lot of time and effort pretending they never, ever log anything, Psiphon is a bit more honest. PsiCash can be earned simply by using the app or watching a short video. Psiphon also recently introduced a new way to enjoy the benefits of a subscription on iOS and Android operating systems: an in-app currency called PsiCash that users can use for temporary speed boosts. It’s a good opportunity to run some speed tests and see if the performance boost is worth the small extra money each month. Since this is in-app, you can avoid fees by making sure you cancel through the App Store or Google Play Store before the free trial ends. ![]() Psiphon is primarily a free service, but offers a 30-day free trial for those using Psiphon Pro for Android, or a three-day free trial for iOS. Unfortunately, there is no option to pay with cryptocurrency for more privacy, and there are no international methods like Alibaba or UnionPay. There is an experimental version for linux but it does not work for me in China.Android and iOS users looking to upgrade to Psiphon Pro can only choose payment options accepted by the App Store and Google Play Store. You can workaround this programmaticaly with aws-cli I have shared a bash script here Psiphon With AWS the only issue is that you'll have to change the IP in your client configuration every time you restart the server: It is easy to configure a server/client, if you don't have a server 'outside the firewall' one option is toĬonfigure a Shadowssocks server on Amazon AWS: for one year amazon give you a server for free ( but they will charge some small fees if you exceed the monthly data traffic). SwitchyOmega is to me the best way to switch between them. Usually the above programs set up a local proxy so ShadowSocks (you ll need a server address or configure your own server).Tor (here works only with obfs3 bridges). On Windows/Mac/Android there are many VPN and other services but on Linux there are only a few that I know of. I live in China and daily I have to face the great firewall pain :( ![]()
